The 2-Day forthcoming Igbo Legacy Food Exhibition event organized in conjunction with Fexdora Agro-development Union has gotten a boost as a 7-man committee has been set up to execute the event.
Inaugurating the 7-man Committee on Saturday, October 28th, 2023 at the Secretariat of Fexdora in Owerri, the National Coordinator of Fexdora Agro-development charged members of the Committee to be focused and ensure that the event is a success as the program is intended to showcase the rich culture which is inherent in the food we have in Igbo land.
“Your committee shall be responsible to plan, coordinate and execute” Mrs Nwadike started. “You shall also ensure that a workable budget is used within the period as this will help give the planning a direction”.
“We know that you have limited time, but we shall give you all the necessary support needed to enable you accomplish the task within the period as we hope to get the best out of the two-day event”.
The 7-man committee members are Mr. Richfield Chika (Chairman), Mrs Ogechi Odoekwu (Secretary), Dr. Ikedi Caleb (Member), Mrs Joe Miracle Enwendu (Member), Mrs Akutah Peace (Member), Mrs Agodi Ngozi (Member) and Sir Jude Ehiri.
The committee which starts work with immediate effect will have to work with the December 1st and 2nd dates which has been lined up for the program.
The Igbo Legacy Food Exhibition event is one of the numerous programmes from the organizers in Imo State, and it intends to attract stakeholders in Igbo culture from all walks of life to Owerri, the capital city of Imo.
