The All Progressive Congress (APC) has raked in at least N19billion from sales of political party nomination and declaration of interest forms ranging from Presidential Aspirants forms to senatorial forms sales.
According to the National Organising Secretary of the Party Alhaji Sulaiman Arugugu, he said that as at Thursday May 5, 15 aspirants has picked Presidential forms at N100,000,000 which amounted to N1,500,000,000.
For the governorship positions, 48 aspirants have also picked their forms at N50,000,000 each which amounts to N2,400,000,00, while 1,505 aspirants have picked the States House of Assembly forms at N2m each which amounts to N3,010,000,000.
For the position of House of Representatives, 821 aspirants have picked up the forms at N10m each amounting to N8,210,000,000 while 241 aspirants have also picked the senatorial forms at N20m each which has amounted to N4,820,000,000.
The total sum as at Thursday if calculated have reached N19,940,000,000 which is just N60m less the sum of N20billion
Political analysts have raised eyebrow on the huge sum charged by the party as this could lead to corruption when the said politicians eventually get into office.
