The Interparty Advisory Council (IPAC) has called upon Kano State Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, to include leaders and members from various political parties in his cabinet, aiming to establish an all-encompassing government that can ensure equitable development and the fair distribution of democratic benefits throughout the state.
IPAC conducted a project assessment tour in Kano to evaluate Governor Yusuf’s performance over a six-month period. The group, consisting of leaders from all political parties in Nigeria, inspected 11 projects spanning education, healthcare, agriculture, physical infrastructure, and human development.
Following their tour, the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Chief Ralphs Okey Nwosu, addressed the media at Tahir Guest Palace on Saturday night. He emphasized the importance of Governor Yusuf involving members from different political parties in governance, believing that such a gesture could promote reconciliation and foster further progress in the state.
IPAC also expressed approval of the security situation in Kano and commended government employees for their contributions to the state’s socio-economic development.
Chief Nwosu mentioned that the state’s efforts in delivering democratic benefits were very promising. He also pledged to provide a comprehensive report of their findings to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the National Assembly for evaluation and commendation.
