The Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Kaduna State, Hassan Taura, has advised corps members to quickly acclimate and avoid absenteeism at their designated primary assignment locations.
Taura offered this guidance on Thursday in Kaduna during a subdued closing ceremony for the 2023 Batch ‘C’ Stream II orientation course. He also urged the corps members to promptly report to their primary assignments upon leaving the camp and complete all necessary documentation.
Additionally, Taura cautioned against unauthorized travel outside the state, emphasizing that such measures were in place to discourage them from exposing themselves to road hazards. The state coordinator further warned against engaging in activities like drug abuse, cybercrime, misuse of social media, or any behavior that could jeopardize their lives and tarnish the reputation of their parents and the NYSC.
