Bob Marley’s granddaughter picks Burna Boy for ‘dream’ collaboration with late legend

Zuri Marley, the granddaughter of the late Jamaican reggae icon Bob Marley, has expressed her admiration for Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy, stating that he is the only artist she would have wished to see collaborate with her grandfather.

She shared this sentiment while speaking at the premiere of the movie ‘Bob Marley: One Love’ in London recently. Marley explained that after careful consideration, she concluded that Burna Boy’s collaboration with her grandfather would have been the most cherished.

She stated, “The person who I would want my grandpa [Bob Marley] to collaborate with is Burna Boy. I had to think about it. I went backstage and I was like, ‘Burna Boy. Africa Unite.” It’s worth noting that two Nigerian artists, Wizkid and Bloody Civilian, were featured in the soundtrack EP of the music biopic ‘Bob Marley: One Love.
