BREAKING: Supreme Court judgment: Peter Obi hints on contesting 2027 presidential election

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has alluded to the possibility of running for the presidency in the 2027 elections. Obi made this statement as he commended Nigerian youths for their support during the 2023 presidential election. He expressed these sentiments during a world press conference held in Abuja, where he also criticized the Supreme Court for upholding President Bola Tinubu’s election.

Obi pointed out that the Supreme Court’s ruling had shaken the trust that Nigerians had in the judicial system. He stated that this judgment signifies the end of his pursuit of justice concerning the conduct of the 2023 presidential election. He affirmed, ‘The enthusiasm and dedication of Nigerian youths have been remarkable, and I want to assure them that this is not the conclusion of our journey; it’s just the beginning. We will persevere and persist until we reach our destination, because a united Nigeria is our ultimate goal.
