The meeting was held at the Oyo State Governors Lodge in Abuja, and was attended by some members of the party’s National Working Committee, including Acting Chairman Iliya Damagum.
Some of the PDP governors sighted on arrival include Sim Fubara (Rivers), Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Caleb Muftwang (Plateau), Dauda Lawal (Zamfara), Ahmadu Fintiri (Adamawa), Ademola Adeleke (Osun), Agbu Kefas (Taraba), Godwin Obaseki (Edo), and Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta).
The emergency meeting was convened over the recent attempt by some members of the Rivers State House of Assembly to impeach Governor Fubara.
