Buhari knew implication of eliminating Nnamdi Kanu, your book toilet paper – IPOB knocks Adesina

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has dismissed the claims made by Femi Adesina, the former media aide to ex-President Bola Tinubu, regarding Tinubu’s intervention in preventing the elimination of Nnamdi Kanu, a pro-Biafra agitator.

IPOB contends that President Muhammadu Buhari chose to have Kanu arrested instead of eliminated due to an understanding of the severe consequences associated with such an action. Adesina disclosed this information in his book, “Working with Buhari: reflections of a special adviser, media and publicity (2015-2023).”

In response, IPOB’s spokesperson, Emma Powerful, characterized Adesina’s book as nothing more than “toilet paper” that lacks appeal for any sensible person to purchase. Powerful asserted that Buhari’s government was well aware of the repercussions of attempting to eliminate Kanu and attempted to downplay the significance of Adesina’s revelations.

According to Powerful, the global family and movement of IPOB, led by Nnamdi Kanu, reject Adesina’s claim that arresting Kanu was a favor, emphasizing that Kanu’s stature surpasses Adesina and his associates. Powerful expressed satisfaction that the alleged assassination attempts against Kanu failed, highlighting previous incidents, including an attack on Kanu’s father’s compound that resulted in the deaths of his parents.

In conclusion, Powerful criticized Adesina for thinking that mentioning Nnamdi Kanu in his book would garner praise, asserting that the book has become a symbol of disregard and lacks credibility. He emphasized that Adesina’s disclosure only serves to reveal the sinister intentions of Buhari’s government against Kanu.
