Corps members, valued assets to Nigerian Army – Brigade Commander

Brigadier General John Lar, the Commander of the 32 Artillery Brigade in Akure, Ondo State, emphasized the solid bond between the Nigerian Army and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), stating it as unbreakable. He highlighted the significance of corps members to the army’s operations, underscoring their vital role in ensuring maximum security within society.

During a meeting with Samuel Pepple, the newly appointed State Coordinator of NYSC, Lar pledged full cooperation from the brigade, affirming the commitment to safeguarding all individuals. He acknowledged the substantial investment made by the government, parents, and society in the corps members and vowed to fulfill their duty in protecting them.

Expressing appreciation for the swift audience granted to him, Pepple commended Lar’s pragmatic leadership and the dynamic nature of the Nigerian Army. He admired Lar’s administrative approach and extended wishes for a successful and trouble-free tenure.
