In Benue State, Commissioner of Police Emmanuel Adesina urges police officers to maintain vigilance and professionalism during the Easter period. He directs the deployment of personnel to strategic locations to ensure maximum security, especially in places of worship and crowded areas. Adesina calls on religious and community leaders to caution their members against unlawful activities during the celebration, while also wishing the people of Benue State a peaceful Easter celebration.
Similarly, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kwara State deploys 3,300 personnel across the state to maintain security during Easter festivities.
