Former Edo State Governor, Senator Adams Oshiomhole, has dismissed Omoyele Sowore, one of the organizers of the #EndBadGovernance protest, as a failed politician.
Speaking on Arise TV on Wednesday morning, Oshiomhole stated that the protest was unnecessary and praised President Bola Tinubu for his efforts to address Nigeria’s economic issues.
Oshiomhole mentioned that he does not recognize many of the protest organizers, comparing them to well-known figures like Wole Soyinka and Gani Fawehinmi, whom he respects.
“I only know Sowore as a defeated presidential candidate,” Oshiomhole said. “When you lose an election, you should wait for the elected leader to act. Sowore, still dealing with his defeat, cannot be considered a legitimate voice for the people. He is not the right person to represent those in Kano, Maiduguri, or elsewhere affected by violence and unrest.”
