Ademola Lookman has been nominated for the UEFA Europa League Player of the Week. The Nigerian international delivered an outstanding performance, scoring a hat-trick in Atalanta’s 3-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday night.
His teammates, Davide Zappacosta and Ederson, have also been nominated for the award.
Additionally, Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie is in the running for the accolade.
Lookman previously won the Player of the Week award during Atalanta’s semi-final victory against Olympic Marseille, where he recorded a goal and an assist in the second leg of the match.
