Government alone cannot solve house challenges in Lagos – Gov Sanwo-Olu

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State stated on Tuesday that the state government alone cannot resolve the housing crisis but is committed to reducing the deficit. He made this statement during the commissioning of the Lagos Building Investment Company and the Rising Lagos Apartment in the Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area.

Governor Sanwo-Olu praised the leadership of LBIC and the Public Private Partner, WGC, for their dedication, innovation, and excellence in realizing these projects for the citizens.

He emphasized, “The government alone cannot solve these housing challenges in Lagos. We will continue to explore innovative solutions, form genuine partnerships, and invest in sustainable development to ensure that every deserving Lagos resident has access to decent and affordable housing.”

He encouraged the private sector and other real estate stakeholders to take advantage of the opportunities in Lagos and partner with the administration to meet the housing needs and make the vision of a greater Lagos a reality.

Earlier, Managing Director of LBIC, Olusola Faleye, highlighted the scheme as a significant achievement for the state government and its residents.
