I won’t stop saying it, Obi won 2023 elections – Baba-Ahmed

Yusuf Baba-Ahmed, the former Vice Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has firmly maintained that he and Peter Obi won the 2023 presidential election. He vowed to keep asserting this claim.

During his appearance on Arise Television’s Prime Time programme on Friday, Baba-Ahmed accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of manipulating the results by switching off the INEC Result Viewing portal (IRev) and returning the results manually.

He stated, “We hold our heads high. When we look at the campaign promises of the APC or the current government, what have they achieved? The iRev was switched off, the results were returned manually, and then the Constitution was twisted, altering the meaning of the English language. We won the 2023 election. I will never stop saying it. The Labour Party today is in a better position than the CPC was in 2013/2014 leading up to the 2015 election.”

Baba-Ahmed also highlighted the ongoing failures of the current administration, citing worsening insecurity, a declining economy, and increasing corruption. He suggested that there might be a scheme to divide Nigeria into six autonomous zones beyond 2027, driven by the current failures.
