The Bodija Estate Residents Association has issued a warning that no fewer than nine (9) inhabitants of the locality have been unaccounted for since the previous week. This announcement was made on Wednesday.
Recalling that an explosive device detonated last Tuesday, resulting in the death of at least five individuals and numerous others sustaining injuries, the association’s president, Muyiwa Bamgbose, conveyed that they have been actively searching for nine residents of the area since the unfortunate incident.
Bamgbose stated that this information was obtained during their data compilation of residents and the assessment of affected residences. He emphasized, “It is currently around eight or nine individuals who have been reported missing. We have brought forth the street map and are systematically assessing each house to obtain an accurate count. If someone was seen yesterday but cannot be located today, that raises concerns.”
