ICPC identifies MDAs engaged in job racketeering

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has identified certain Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) allegedly involved in job racketeering and pledged to take decisive action against them shortly.

Speaking at a seminar to commemorate the 2024 International Anti-Corruption Day, ICPC Chairman Musa Aliyu highlighted the issue and reaffirmed the commission’s commitment to tackling corruption across sectors.

Aliyu praised the country’s youth for their notable resistance to corrupt practices, stating that this trend offers hope for a future built on integrity in Nigeria.

He also addressed the pressing issue of sexual harassment in tertiary institutions, assuring attendees that the ICPC was actively working to eliminate the problem and promising significant progress in the near future.
