ICPC Set To Arraign Federal Lawmaker Over Certificate Forgery

The Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC) has accused Mohammed Garba Gololo of forgery.

Gololo, member representing Gamawa Federal Constituency of Bauchi State was accused of forging his BSc and Master Degree certificates.

The eight-count charge filed at the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) alleged that the lawmaker claimed to have attended the Lagos State University (LASU), where he obtained the two certificates.

The commission disclosed that Garba-Gololo submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, both from the Lagos State University.

His arraignment was scheduled to hold before Justice K. N. Ogbonnaya of the High Court of the FCT in Kubwa but couldn’t hold as the lawmaker didn’t show up.
