Igbo Legacy Food And Cultural Exhibition Event To Hold On December 2nd

The Igbo Legacy Food And Cultural Exhibition event earlier scheduled to hold on December 1st and 2nd, 2023 has now been rescheduled for a One-day event and will now hold on Saturday December 2, 2023.

According to Ngozi Nwadike of Fexdora Agro-development, who are partners to Igbo Legacy, she stated that the adjustment became necessary to enable them prune down on the budget of the event and yet organize a World-Class event that would meet the test of time.

“All our plans to showcase the cultural heritage of the Igbo people through traditional music, dance, and art exhibitions still stands” Ngozi Nwadike stated, but it shall now be a One-day event” she concluded.

In the bid to highlight on the adjustment, Coordinator of Igbo Legacy, Kelechi Kenny Uzoma added that the event outline has also been reviewed to fit into the One-Day plan which aims at exploring the rich Igbo Cultural heritage expected to hold on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the Villa Mari, in Owerri.

While introducing the newly reviewed programme, Kenny Uzoma noted that there shall be Cooking Competition, Igbo Fashion Competition, Traditional Dance Competition, Traditional Igbo Games (Ncho) competition and Marketplace where Igbo products shall be displayed.

The exhibition will also provide a platform for the Fexdora Agro Cooperative Union to share their innovative farming practices and promote sustainable agriculture. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about organic farming techniques, eco-friendly initiatives, and the Union’s commitment to preserving the environment while ensuring food security.
