‘It took Tinubu one year to buy presidential jet despite inflation, banditry’ – Kalu Aja

Kalu Aja, a financial analyst and educator, has argued that Nigeria’s economic situation may not be as dire as commonly believed.

Aja pointed out that President Bola Tinubu managed to acquire a new private jet within a year, despite the challenges of inflation and banditry.

In a post on his X account on Monday, Aja questioned how the President could afford a new jet if the Nigerian economy were truly as troubled as suggested.

He remarked: “In just one year, your president bought a new private jet, even amidst complaints of inflation and banditry.

“Your president isn’t superhuman.

“If the Nigerian economy is as bad as you say, how is it possible for the President to purchase a new jet?”
