JAMB releases withheld 2024 UTME results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has unveiled an additional 531 results from the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Fabian Benjamin, the board’s spokesperson, communicated this update in a statement provided to DAILY POST on Tuesday.

With these newly released results, the total number of results issued thus far stands at 1,842,897, according to JAMB’s announcement. The board has also identified additional cases of examination misconduct, totaling 92 instances compared to the initial count of 81.

Furthermore, JAMB is currently reviewing cases involving unverified candidates and intends to announce its stance on these matters soon.

This development follows the earlier release of UTME results on April 29 by JAMB Registrar, Prof Ishaq Oloyede. However, out of the 1,904,189 candidates who participated in the examination, 64,624 results were withheld pending further investigation by the board.
