JUST-IN: Tinubu Appoints 8 New Perm Secs

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of eight new Federal Permanent Secretaries to address current and upcoming vacancies in various states and geopolitical zones within the top administrative cadre of the Civil Service of the Federation.

According to a statement by presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale on Friday, the new Federal Permanent Secretaries were appointed after a thorough selection process by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation. The appointees are: Dr. Emanso Umobong Okop (Akwa-Ibom), Obi Emeka Vitalis (Anambra), Mahmood Fatima Sugra Tabi’a (Bauchi), Danjuma Mohammed Sanusi (Jigawa), Olusanya Olubunmi (Ondo), Dr. Keshinro Maryam Ismaila (Zamfara), Akujobi Chinyere Ijeoma (South-East), and Isokpunwu Christopher Osaruwanmwen (South-South).

The President expressed his expectation that the new Federal Permanent Secretaries will demonstrate absolute dedication, diligence, and loyalty to the nation in their duties, ensuring optimal service delivery to the Nigerian people.
