Kerosene price jumped to N1,083/per litre from N441 in 2021 – NBS

The price of cooking kerosene increased to N1,083.57/litre in November 2022 from N441.06 in the same month of 2021, the National Bureau of Statistics, NBS, latest data disclosed.

On a state analysis, Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Abuja recorded the highest average price in November with N1,417, N1,367 and N1,367, respectively.

On the other hand, the lowest price was recorded in Borno with N876, followed by Rivers with N910 and Nasarawa with N913.

In addition, zonal analysis showed that the South-East recorded the highest average retail price per litre, with N1,209, followed by the South-West with N1,163, while the North-East recorded the lowest with N959.
