Manchester United has confirmed Ruud van Nistelrooy’s exit from the club.
Van Nistelrooy took on an interim coaching role following the dismissal of Erik ten Hag. On Monday, the club issued a statement as new head coach Ruben Amorim arrived in the UK.
The statement read: “Manchester United can confirm Ruud van Nistelrooy’s departure. Since rejoining this summer, Ruud has led the team in four matches as interim head coach.
“Ruud remains a legend of Manchester United. We deeply appreciate his commitment and approach throughout his time here, and he will always be welcome at Old Trafford.”
