The village of Umudimokoro of Umualumaku in Ehime Mbano local government area of Imo state stood agog as the CFE Foundation ended their three days care for widows and needy project in the state by giving out packages to those who were present at the town hall.
The event which started at Ezinhitte Mbaise on April 18, continued at Mbieri on the 19th, before rounding off in the state at Umudimokoro the home town of the Executive Director of the Foundation Lady Chinyere Nnamezie.
As at 12 noon, the town hall had some beneficiaries already seated while representatives of CFE Foundation offloaded bags of 10kg rice, soya oil, and tin tomatoes amongst others to kick-start the days event.
Aside the take-away palliatives which consists of 10kg bags of rice, tin-tomatoes amongst others, light refreshments were also made available by CFE Foundation to entertain their guests while waiting.
There was a formal opening prayer and praise and worship, before Mr. Benneth Iheoma from CFE Foundation addressed the women and explained to them the purpose for their visit to the community.
He debunked earlier speculations suggesting that the relief materials had come from politicians and political parties from the state, and reiterated that it was the magnanimity of the kindhearted director of the Foundation that made the gifts possible.
The women showered praises and thanks to God for the initiative of one of their illustrious daughters, Lady Chinyere Nnamezie, who deemed it fit to celebrate the Easter celebration with them in a significant manner.
The gift items were shared for all present in an orderly manner, and all present were also refreshed while the songs of praise continued till all formerly dispatched.
CFE Foundation who have made it a policy to reach out to widows and the needy did not make the Easter celebration of 2022 a dull one, they kept to their promises and delivered.
The Foundation is however open to partnership as well as receiving support or grants from corporate organizations, individuals, government officials as well as all groups of persons who believes in helping the NGO sustain their aims and objectives.
