Nigeria Vs Ghana: Black Stars’ Squad To Be Scrutinized On Thursday

Coach of the Ghana national team, Otto Addo is expected to submit his squad list for this month’s 2022 World Cup playoff against Nigeria to the management committee set up by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Thursday.

Addo has been given until tomorrow to submit the squad list, according to Ghana Web.

The six-man committee is made up of GFA vice president, Mark Addo – Chairman, Kwasi Agyemang – Vice Chairman, Samuel Kuffuor, Kwame Bamfo, former Ghana captain Stephen Appiah, Colonel Kwadwo Damoah (rtd) and Alhaji Karim Grusah.

They will review the list before an official announcement is made.

It is understood Addo had been working hard to convince some Ghanaian players born abroad to switch international allegiance to the Black Stars.

This has fuelled speculation that new faces will be included in the squad.

Ghana will host the first leg on March 25, before travelling to Abuja for the second leg four days later.
