Osimhen’s Move To PSG On Brink Of Collapse

Victor Osimhen’s potential move to French side, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), is on the verge of collapse as negatiations between the club and Napoli have reached a stalemate over the player’s release clause of €130 million.

PSG has been keen to sign the 25-year-old Nigerian star striker after Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid on a free transfer and negotiations were facilitated by Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, who flew to Paris.

Osimhen’s contract includes a €130 million release clause which PSG are not willing to pay and want to negotiate it down.

According to Italian transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, Osimhen is keen of leaving Napoli this summer, but PSG not willing to pay the clause means talks are in stand-by at current condition, no chance to include Kang-in Lare.

Osimhen could also consider Saudi league bids as Napoli want Lukaku to replace him at Diego Maradona Stadium.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Ligue 1 champions are not willing to spend more than €100m for Napoli ace and are considering a player-plus-cash deal, potentially involving Carlos Soler, Nordi Mukiele and Lee Kang-in which the Italian club have rejected as well.

In addition to PSG, Saudi Pro League clubs have shown interest in Osimhen, and heavyweights like Manchester United and Bayern Munich have previously competed for his signature.
