PDP NEC: Damagun’s survival not a victory for Wike – Senator Moro

Senator Moro emphasized that attributing the entirety of the PDP’s actions and inactions solely to figures like Wike and Atiku is misguided. He stressed that the issues at hand transcend individual victories or losses but concern the collective wellbeing of the party.

The decision-making process involved a careful consideration of how to offer Nigerians an alternative amidst the hardships caused by the APC’s governance. Regarding Wike’s attendance at the National Caucus meeting, Moro highlighted that unless he’s been formally penalized by the party’s disciplinary committee, he retains his membership rights.

However, Moro noted the necessity of enforcing disciplinary measures once wrongdoing is established. Looking ahead to the next NEC meeting, Moro outlined adherence to the party’s constitution in appointing a replacement for the National Chairman, emphasizing the need for unity and restraint among party members to avoid further division. He reaffirmed the party’s commitment to addressing Nigeria’s challenges under APC rule.
