A private jet conveying some very important personalities, VIPs, has crash-landed in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Firefighters and rescue officials from the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, were immediately deployed to the scene, according to Channels Television.
DAILY POST reports that two months ago, a similar incident occurred at the same location.
The private jet was said to be having about 10 persons onboard, mostly VIPs.
A source told Channels that the jet crash-landed round 111:00 am on Friday, at the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport, Ibadan.
The jet with registration number, N580KR, missed the runway, running into the nearby bush.
“It was a private plane from Abuja. It landed safely but overshot the runway. There was no casualty,” a spokesperson for the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, Carol Adekotujo, told Channels.
