President Bola Tinubu is presently hosting key officials from both chambers of the National Assembly for an Iftar dinner at the State House in Abuja.
The lawmakers arrived at the Villa’s forecourt in two Toyota Coaster buses around 7:00 p.m. (local time). Senate President Godswill Akpabio later joined the gathering.
Earlier on Monday, Tinubu had hosted state governors and other government officials for Iftar. However, Wednesday’s dinner marks the second such gathering during Ramadan.
Among the attendees are Vice President Kashim Shettima, the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, and several Senate and House committee chairpersons.
