Lazio attacker, Pedro has lamented how his former coach at Roma, Jose Mourinho sacked him immediately he became Roma boss last summer.

The player is still frustrated, saying he never expected Mourinho to dismiss him the way did.

The Spaniard had a disappointing campaign with the Giallorossi, leading to his exit in the summer of 2021.

The ex-Blues star then moved to city rivals Lazio under another former Chelsea boss,Maurizio Sarri .

And in a recent interview with Radio Marca Tenerife, Pedro said, “I didn’t expect Mourinho to dismiss me and not rely on me.

“But that’s football for you. In football there’s always good moments and bad ones. And that’s what happened to me.”

He concluded, “afterwards, I really wanted to go to Lazio.”
