Napoli’s president, Aurelio de Laurentiis, has confirmed that Victor Osimhen is on the verge of finalizing a contract extension. Osimhen’s current contract is set to expire next summer, leaving him with only one year remaining, and the Serie A champions are eager to secure his commitment.
The Nigerian international is expected to sign a one-year extension, featuring a release clause ranging from €130 million to €140 million. De Laurentiis stated that the negotiations for the new contract are almost complete.
“I mentioned it before, and I’ll say it again – we are nearing the conclusion,” he conveyed to CorSport.
Osimhen has demonstrated his prowess by scoring seven goals in 14 league appearances for Napoli this season.
