‘Stop cursing our leaders’ – Kogi APC chieftain begs Nigerians

Nathaniel Taiwo, a prominent member of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kogi State, has urged Nigerians to adopt the habit of praying for their leaders at all levels instead of cursing them when things go wrong.

Taiwo, a former member of the Kogi State House of Assembly, shared this advice while speaking with journalists in Lokoja on Friday.

He expressed his displeasure at people cursing those in authority, stating, “Whenever I see people raining curses on those in authority, I am not always happy. Raining curses on people in government will not solve our problem but will make it worse.”

Taiwo encouraged Nigerians to move beyond the pull-down syndrome and develop the habit of praying for government leaders, believing that this would lead to a better Nigeria.

He assured that despite current challenges, President Bola Tinubu’s administration will make significant progress in addressing the nation’s issues. Taiwo emphasized that the country will soon see tremendous progress under Tinubu’s leadership and urged Nigerians to support and encourage the president to succeed.
