Supreme Court judgement plot to deny Nnamdi Kanu justice – IPOB

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has asserted that the recent Supreme Court judgment referring the case of its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, back to the high court is a deliberate attempt to prolong his incarceration. In a press release signed by the group’s Publicity Secretary, Mr. Emma Powerful, IPOB called on the international community to take note of the situation. They warned that if any unrest occurs in Nigeria during this period, the Supreme Court justices should be held accountable.

IPOB expressed dissatisfaction with what they perceive as a biased and manipulated Supreme Court decision against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, suggesting collusion with the Nigerian government to perpetuate injustice. They questioned the Supreme Court’s stance, claiming it indirectly justifies international kidnapping and extraordinary rendition of Kanu, while simultaneously condemning the same actions. The group raised concerns about the Supreme Court’s apparent deviation from international laws that oppose extraordinary rendition.

Furthermore, IPOB accused President Bola Tinubu of pursuing an ethnic agenda against the Igbo people. They criticized the Supreme Court justices for allegedly becoming instruments of oppression in support of the oppressors.
