Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has declared Victor Osimhen the best striker in the world at the moment.
Osimhen, who joined the Turkish Super Lig champions on loan from Napoli in September, has been in sensational form, scoring eight goals in nine appearances for the club.
In comparison, Erling Haaland has netted 15 goals in 16 appearances for Manchester City this season.
However, Buruk believes Osimhen’s current performance puts him ahead of the Norwegian striker.
“There are not many elite strikers in Europe,” Buruk told the Turkish outlet Assist Analiz.
“Haaland might come to mind first, but considering Manchester City’s recent losses, I’d say Osimhen is the best at the moment.”
