Former Liverpool, Manchester United and Real Madrid striker, Michael Owen has predicted the next move of PSG boss, Mauricio Pochettino after the French side crashed out of Champions League to Real Madrid on Wednesday.
He said that the former Tottenham boss ‘won’t mind’ PSG’s Champions League exit, adding that the Argentine already has his eye on a return to the Premier League.
Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema scored a 17-minute hat-trick last night to dump PSG out of the Champions League.
Reports in England suggest that Manchester United have made Pochettino their leading target to become their new permanent manager this summer.
And Owen told BT Sport, “I don’t think he will mind,” when asked how the Argentine coach will react to PSG’s exit.
“I think he has his eyes set on a Premier League team anyway.
“But he was out of work [when he was approached by PSG], it’s an unbelievable job to try and achieve something like that, he is going to win the league probably.
“But he will go the same way as Thomas Tuchels. When a big job comes up in England, I’m sure he has his fingerprints all over it.”
