Why Bola Tinubu Was Absent At Presidential Candidates Peace Pact

The Spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council, Dino Melaye has alleged the reason the All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer, Bola Tinubu, was absent at the peace pact signing yesterday in Abuja.

However, the APC vice presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima, represented Tinubu at the occasion.

PDP candidate, Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) amongst others were present at the signing.

Reacting to Tinubu’s absence, Dino Melaye in a video shared on his Twitter page, made a mockery of the former Governor of Lagos State.

Melaye said Tinubu was the only presidential candidate who was absent at the peace accord signing and he is aware of his reason.

According to him, there was no provision for thumb printing as all the candidates were allowed to sign.

Officials Insist Adamu’s Letter To Tinubu Is APC-NWC’s Position
Meanwhile, an official of APC has insisted that the party’s National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, has written a letter to the presidential candidate of the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to the official of the ruling party, Adamu’s letter was the true position of the National Working Committee (NWC) despite their denial.
