In 2023, AKIRS surpassed its previous record, generating an impressive ₦48.2 billion, a clear indication of the agency’s growing efficiency and effectiveness under the leadership of Sir Okon Okon. Fast forward to 2024, AKIRS has already generated ₦32.6 billion, with a projection of ₦50 billion by the end of the year. This remarkable achievement is a result of their innovative strategies, effective tax collection methods, and collaboration with stakeholders.
