Doyin Okupe, the former presidential spokesperson, on Thursday outlined a strategy to unseat President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
Okupe argued that a partnership between former PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party’s Peter Obi would successfully challenge Tinubu’s hold on power. He added that if former President Goodluck Jonathan decides to enter the race, it would be the end of Tinubu’s presidency.
On X, Okupe posted that business magnate Aliko Dangote should follow the example of Elon Musk and support Atiku. He wrote: “Many Nigerian politicians lack serious thought. Atiku/Obi will take down Tinubu. They think the Yorubas are naive.
“Bring in GEJ in 2027 and it’s all over, assuming the North is intent on self-destruction. Dangote should be like Elon Musk and support Atiku, unless Dangote wants to commit economic suicide. Where is God in all this?”
