Terrorists reportedly kills over 28 in Southern Kaduna

Over 28 people have been killed in Malagum 1 and Sokwong communities of Kagoro Chiefdom in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

This is reportedly from separate terrorist attacks on Sunday night.

According to the council chairman who confirmed the attacks to the press Monday, Mathias Siman, seven persons were brutally killed at Sokwong Community.

This attack comes barely five days after an attack was launched in Malagum 1 killing three persons.

According to Siman, all the houses in Sokwong Community had been completely razed down by the terrorist, though he says he is yet to confirm the killings in Malagum 1.

“Attacks in our area have been consistent and multi-dimensional with efforts of the security operatives and government not seen or felt,” he added.

The attackers were said to have stormed the communities in large numbers around 11 O’Clock with sporadic shooting at their victims, attacks with machetes, and burning of property.

The spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command, Mohammed Jalige, could not be reached as of the time of filing this report.
