The Director General, Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies, Comrade Issa Aremu, has described President Muhammadu Buhari as the most labour friendly President the country has ever produced.
Aremu, stated this while speaking with Journalists, on the occasion of the 80th birthday of President Buhari in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital.
According to him, despite the daunting challenges that the Buhari administration met on ground in 2015, as symbolized by insecurity, and economic downturn, workers were not made to bear the brunt of the challenges.
Comrade Aremu explained that after almost seven and a half years in the saddle, it is gratifying that President Buhari’s administration has not only surmounted most of the challenges, but also set the Nigerian economy on the part of growth and development.
The Director General said the federal government never made staff rationalization a state policy throughout the challenging period.
Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress, APC says President Muhammadu Buhari remains a source of great inspiration to many Nigerians, and a model of discipline, integrity, resilience and patriotism.
In a statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr Felix Morka, to felicitate with President Buhari on his 80th birthday, the APC describes him as a man of courage.
It explains that as the leader of the APC, President Buhari personifies the progressive ideals for which the Party is unique and continues to offer visionary leadership as it builds a more vibrant future for all Nigerians.
