Gov Bago tasks newly sworn-in Perm Secs on adhering to laid down rules


Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has urged the five newly appointed Permanent Secretaries to fulfill their responsibilities for the betterment of society and in adherence to established protocols. The Governor delivered this charge during their swearing-in ceremony, which took place at the weekly State Executive Council meeting held in the Council Chamber of the Government House in Minna.

Additionally, he encouraged the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries to demonstrate their worthiness of the trust and confidence placed in them, while also expressing his wishes for their success. Furthermore, he instructed the Head of Service to promptly send out their deployment letters for approval.

The oath of office and allegiance was administered by the Chief Magistrate of Court 1, Ummah Mohammed.

In statements to the press, the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries expressed their joy at the promotion and pledged to dedicate themselves to serving the state to the best of their abilities.

The appointed Permanent Secretaries are Dr. Baba Uthman Alhaji from Agaie local government, Umar Danlami Rijau from LG, Rahila Iliya from Mariga LG, James Tetengi Bake from Edati LG, and Salihu Mohammed Alfa from Lavun LG.
