Kebbi Massacre: Buhari Enabling ‘Bloody Killings’ In Nigeria – Adeyanju

Deji Adeyanju, the convener of the Concerned Nigerians advocacy group, on Thursday, said President Muhammadu Buhari’s body language is enabling “bloody killings” in Nigeria.

Adeyanju made the remark while lamenting that Buhari once wept over the killings and promised to help.

The Abuja-based activist was reacting to a report on the alleged killing of 15 soldiers by bandits in Kebbi State.

The bandits reportedly killed 20 security operatives, including 15 soldiers, in Kebbi State.

The deceased were soldiers from the Light Tank Battalion of the Nigerian Army in Zuru, who were deployed to Kanya, in Danko-Wasagu District.

Reacting, Adeyanju condemned the attack, while urging the Federal Government to wake up from its slumber.

A statement by Adeyanju reads: “Our Convener, Adeyanju Deji, has reacted to the brutal killing of 15 soldiers in Kebbi, describing it as ‘another bloody stain on Buhari’s inglorious garment of next level governance and anti-corruption regime, and APC’s change mantra.’

“Buhari’s body language is the biggest enabler of bloody killings in Nigeria. And it is shocking because this was once a presidential aspirant who marched on the streets of Abuja weeping and mourning that we’re suffering and dying, and he wants to help.

“We all at Concerned Nigerians condemn these brutal attacks and killing of innocent people, including security operatives. And we call on the government to wake from its slumber and rid the nation of these killers. Our condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in the attacks.”
