Barcelona striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has expressed happiness after scoring his first hattrick for the Catalan club in their LaLiga 4-1 win against Valencia on Sunday.
Aubameyang made a promise to teammate, Pedri after Barcelona defeated Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium.
Barcelona defeated Valencia in a LaLiga tie at the weekend, thanks to three goals from Aubameyang and a goal from Frenkie de Jong.
Pedri looked to have scored the fourth goal from a distance for Barcelona against Valencia, but it was later awarded to Aubameyang.
Reacting, Aubameyang, in a post via his Instagram account after the game, hailed his teammates for their performances against Valencia.
The 32-year-old wrote: “First LaLiga start – first hattrick. Incredible feeling and great team performance!! Special thanks to @pedrigonzalez for the assist. I promise I got your back next time.”
Aubameyang will now hope to continue his brilliant form for Barcelona when they face Napoli in the Europa League on Thursday.
