LaLiga: Valencia coach thumbs up two-goal hero Sadiq after Sevilla draw

Valencia manager, Carlos Corberán, has heaped praise on Umar Sadiq for his outstanding performance in the club’s thrilling 3-3 draw against Osasuna.

Sadiq shone in the encounter, netting a brace for Los Che.

The 27-year-old has now scored three goals in six league appearances for Valencia since joining the former UEFA Europa League champions on loan from Real Sociedad in January.

“Sadiq arrived with great commitment and a strong work ethic.

“We will continue to give him the confidence he needs to keep contributing to the team,” Corberán said after the match.
