Olympic Lyon, a Ligue 1 club, has officially secured the services of Gift Orban for a transfer fee of €12 million, according to DAILY POST. The Nigerian forward has made the move from the Belgian Pro League side, KAA Gent, and has inked a contract that runs until June 30, 2028.
Gift Orban, aged 21, spent approximately one-and-a-half seasons with Gent after joining them from the Norwegian second division club, Stabaek, in January 2023. Demonstrating his prowess as a striker, he impressively scored 20 goals in 22 appearances across all competitions for Gent in the latter part of the previous season.
